ASD participated in the MRO Americas conference held at the Georgia World Congress Centre in Atlanta, USA from April 18th to April 20th.
Bringing together 16,000+ industry professionals, MRO is the largest gathering of the aviation maintenance community in the world and focuses on commercial aircraft maintenance and technology solutions for this sector.
The exhibition features nearly 1000 exhibitors from around the world, representing all levels of the airline supply chain.
ASD's Participation in MRO Americas 2023
Managing Director Dave Browne and Head of RFID Projects James Marston represented the company over the three-day event. They are hosted by our good friends at Delta Airlines and had the opportunity to meet with several existing customers, reconnect with valued partners face-to-face and network with potential clients.
ASD's participation in MRO Americas 2023 was a resounding success, resulting in several new projects that will add innovative features to the company’s RFID product family (RFIDAeroCheck, RFIDAeroTrack and RFIDAeroTag) in use by our aerospace customers globally.
ASD's RFID Solutions Address Critical Aerospace Needs
ASD specialise in the development and implementation of mission-critical applications based on the latest RFID technology which are specifically designed for the Aerospace and Aviation market sectors. ASD's solutions are standards-based, GS1-Certified and SPEC2000-Compliant.
ASD's RFIDAeroCheck is a complete solution for airlines that allows for the tracking and management of all rotable and other life-limited components on board the entire airline fleet.
RFIDAeroTrack tracks and monitors the movement of items that are RFID-tagged within a fixed-reader environment or with the use of RFID handheld scanners. Information for all tracked items is stored centrally on an RFIDAeroTrack server, ensuring all data can be shared both internally and externally with the relevant personnel.
ASD's handheld scanning solutions within the RFIDAero suite support both iOS and Android and are available on numerous devices, including handheld computers, smartphones, phablets, tablets, and tough pads.
